5 physical changes after pregnancy that you should not be ashamed of

5 Körperliche Veränderungen Nach Der Schwangerschaft

The human body is an extremely dynamic construct of cell structures that is in a constant process of change over the course of a person's life. That is an incontrovertible fact. And, unfortunately, this evolutionary fact is no exception for us women, no matter how much we might wish for it. However, the biggest physical changes in women's lives don't just take place when we get older or at any other random time, but especially during and after our first pregnancy. Many of these changes are beautiful, but others we don't want to put up with. However, before you get caught up in the illusion that you can turn back the clock, we want you to know that you should not be ashamed of any of the following five changes. They are completely natural. Learn to love your body as it is.

1 - Your stomach tends to feel more like cottage cheese

It can be frustrating when your hard training doesn't pay off the way it used to in the past. No matter how hard you train. No matter how much you watch your diet. It just doesn't get any better. You may feel that your abdominal muscles are still there and are slowly but steadily peeling out visually in one place or another, but when you feel your stomach, it feels more like a portion of cottage cheese. This is a direct result of the stretching of the connective tissue, which is only very slowly regressing, albeit not completely.

2 - The structure of your hair changes

You're probably used to training hard and working up a sweat as part of a strenuous class. It was probably just as normal for you to freshen up after training and watch your hair return to its original perfect shape as if by magic after undoing the plait. Even combing was a foreign word to you. After your pregnancy, however, everything seems to be different. Your hair seems to have adapted to the whims of your offspring. Because when it comes to stubbornness, it is in no way inferior to a bad-tempered baby.

3 - "My breasts? - I don't even know where to start!"

Well, where should I start? This is actually one of the things that we women really struggle with after pregnancy. Especially if we are not blessed with particularly strong connective tissue. If this is the case, our breasts not only appear two cup sizes larger after pregnancy, but are also covered in stretch marks to make matters worse. No need to despair, wear them with pride and see them as a badge of honor. If, on the other hand, you take up the fight against the symbolic windmills, all you have to do is get up.

4 - "I am the proud owner of two lifebuoys!"

The human body can be one hell of a sneaky sock. This is particularly true when it comes to storing fat deposits, which is often the case during pregnancy. Although the fat reserves disappear quite quickly if you train accordingly, this does not mean that this is a permanent condition. Before we know it, the unloved lifebuoys are back, even if we pay even more attention to our diet than in all the years before pregnancy. Well, the cause is once again human nature. Fat cells do not simply disappear again, because once they have appeared on the scene, at most their volume changes. However, their number does not decrease. As a result, it is much easier for our bodies to deposit our sins, measured in calories, in the most inappropriate places with apparent ease. The only way out is constant training and a healthy diet.

5 - Everything about you seems to get bigger

What is most frightening for us women, however, is that our feet seem to have grown during pregnancy. How else can you explain the fact that the majority of our shoe collection, which we have painstakingly put together over the years, suddenly no longer fits? A real drama. It's just as well that fashion is constantly changing and after a year at the latest we can no longer remember why we were so upset about it. After all, this situation is the perfect excuse for an extensive shopping trip.
